Trust Transfer Deeds & PCOR in Los Angeles County

Signing a living trust does not move your house into it. Real property has to be transferred with a recorded deed. A home left in your individual name, outside the trust, may still have to go through probate, even if you have a trust.

From your instructions, we prepare the trust transfer deed and the Preliminary Change of Ownership Report (PCOR) that Los Angeles County requires with it, ready for your signature and notarization.

Once the deed is signed and notarized, we record it with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk so the transfer is on the public record. County recording fees are itemized separately.

Deed preparation and recording is $350 as an individual document, or included in the $3,500 Complete Estate Plan Package. Recorder and notary fees are itemized separately and disclosed in your written contract.
